Rhianne Groom

Rhianne completed her BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy degree from the University of Gloucestershire in 2017 and is a fully insured Member of the Society of Sports Therapists.

​

Rhianne has worked in Swindon within clinical practice for the past 4 and a half years and is really proud to be running a new  injury clinic in Swindon. Rhianne is currently working with Touring Theatre shows and London Musicals and shows, Marlborough College Rugby, Bath Rugby within the academy therapy network and Dorset and Wilts Rugby. 

​

In the past few years Rhianne has also gained experience within the Performing Arts industry working with the English National Ballet as a volunteer Sports Therapist at their training centre in Canning Town as well as working on part of the Winter season on "The Nutcracker" held at the London Coliseum. She has also worked within Musical Theatre specifically with the musical "On Your Feet". 

 

During her time at university Rhianne previously worked within a range of sports and organisations including: England Netball, Swindon Town Football Club Academy, Severn Stars Netball Superleague Team, National Taekwondo, Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey, Gloucestershire Fire Service and most notably working with England Netball as a Sports Massage Therapist in preparation for international competitions.

 

With her work within sports teams, performance and working with the general public, Rhianne believes her expertise and clinical practice are suitable for anyone. Rhianne has worked with a range of ages within her clinical practice from children to elderly patients and is passionate about making sure people get back to doing what they love without pain or limitations. 

​

Outside of the clinic Rhianne is a fitness lover, an avid gym goer and spin instructor. She enjoys singing (particularly Musical Theatre) and dance which has lead her to want to gain more experience within the industry.
