Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to wear to my appointment?

We want to make sure you are comfortable during your appointment. We advise that you wear loose fitting clothing such as loose shorts, tops, vest top is ideal as we will be assessing very specific areas of the body and applying treatment. Finally please make you wear underwear to your appointments!

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

For patients who are under the age of 18 a guardian or parent must always be present within the treatment room. If you require a chaperone to your appointment for medical reasons or to make you feel more comfortable then please let us know in the additional comments section of the booking page.

What shall I bring with me to my appointment?

All you need to bring is yourself!! However if you do have any important medical records, any recent scans (X-ray, MRI, CT) which are relevant to your injury, pain or problem or any doctors notes which approve the use of treatment for your needs then please bring this with you. This is not essential but your personal choice.

How do I pay?

We accept card payments via our SumUp Card Reader. You can chose if you want to pay by contactless, google pay, apple pay or chip & pin (if no contactless card). Please try to use contactless where possible. We can then send you a digital receipt.

Can I ask you questions during the initial consultation and treatment appointments?

Of course! Our ethos at Know Your Body Injury Clinic is all about working with our patients, we want to help you to understand your injury, pain and your bodies. We want to make sure that you feel comfortable during our assessment process and want you to ask us questions throughout so that you understand, can get clarity and to address any concerns.
