This page refers to personal data, defined as: information concerning any living person that is not already in the public domain.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force in 2018 and this determines how your data can be stored and used.

Know Your Body Injury Clinic will never share your personal data or information without consent from you the patient. Due to the nature of assessment, treatment and rehabilitation and our obligation, Know Your Body Injury Clinic at times when matters concern your assessment, on-going treatment and/or current diagnosis may have to share your medical records with other healthcare practitioners e.g. General Practitioners (GPs), consultants and surgeons. If this data and information is required then we will always inform you as the patient and gain your consent and approval on signed agreement.

Know Your Body Injury Clinic uses a few programmes which your data is stored on:

1) Cliniko- Online calendar, booking and patient record system. Cliniko is a practice management system

for clinics and allied health practitioners. This system will store key details required for appointment booking and all patient medical records and treatment records​

 

2)Physitrack- Occasionally exercises and rehabilitation programmes are issued to patients using this application. In order to issue the patient with the rehabilitation programme this system required: Name, DOB and email address. 

 

3) Mailchimp – We will occasionally send out newsletters to our patients. Before you as the patient can be added to the mailing list, you will be asked to tick/circle a box to say you are happy to receive a newsletter.

 

If you have any questions or queries surrounding how we store, use your data or accessibility then please email info@knowyourbodyinjuryclinic.co.uk. When making a booking direct via email or telephone you will be informed about the systems we use to store data as we will ask for some information to complete your booking. On the day of your appointment we will discuss patient consent and permission to store data and how to contact you and you will be asked to sign a consent form.
